Janar 1985 — Peticion i nje grupi intelektualësh shqiptaro-amerikanë, ne te cilin behej thirrje qe te shtrohej trysni ndaj qeverise jugosllave per lirimin e Adem Demacit nga burgu.
Ky Peticion nënshkruhej nga Elez Biberaj, George Nasse, Zef Nekaj, Arshi Pipa, Peter R. Prifti, Sami Repishti, Gjon Sinishta.
“We, the undersigned, all members of the Albanian community in America, call upon the Government of Yugoslavia to release Adem Demaci from prison. We further call upon the intellectual community and the information media in the United States of America to support our effort, to uphold the rights and dignity of an innocent man, Adem Demaci, and bring to an end his suffering by obtaining his release from prison.”
